Returns & Exchanges

Heir Couture — Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Heir Couture, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our products. We hope you love your purchase as much as we loved creating it for you.

Please read our Returns & Exchanges Policy carefully before placing your order.

Change of Mind

Due to the nature of our products and hygiene considerations for baby items, we do not offer refunds for change of mind purchases.

Where eligible, we may offer:

  • An exchange for another item; or
  • A store credit / gift card valid for future purchases.

Requests must be made within 14 days of receiving your order.

Items must be:

  • Unused and unwashed
  • In original condition
  • Returned with original packaging and tags attached

Heir Couture reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

Personalised & Custom Items

Please note that all personalised, monogrammed, custom-made, or made-to-order items are strictly non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

This includes any item customised with:

  • Names
  • Initials
  • Birth details
  • Custom embroidery or printing
  • Special order designs or colours

As these items are created specifically for your order, we cannot resell them once produced.

Please ensure all spelling, dates, and customisation details are carefully checked before submitting your order.

Faulty or Incorrect Items

In the unlikely event that your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at:

sales@heircouture.com.au

Please include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photographs of the item

If the item is deemed faulty or incorrect, Heir Couture will offer a replacement, exchange, store credit, or remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Please note:

  • Minor variations in colour, fabric texture, or print placement may occur and are not considered faults.
  • Normal wear and tear or damage caused by misuse is not considered a manufacturing fault.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is confirmed to be faulty or incorrect.

We recommend using a tracked postal service, as Heir Couture cannot be held responsible for returns lost in transit.

Sale Items

Sale, clearance, promotional, or discounted items are final sale and cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded unless deemed faulty under Australian Consumer Law.

Processing Exchanges & Store Credits

Once your return has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

Approved exchanges or store credits are typically processed within 3–5 business days of receiving the returned item.

Store credits/gift cards are valid for 1 year from the date of issue in accordance with Australian law.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
